Taekwondo
Instruction & leadership.
Make each technique understandable.
I teach taekwondo to children. My responsibility is to explain techniques clearly, demonstrate them carefully, and help students at different levels understand how to practice them.
Students learn in different ways and at different paces. I adjust my explanations, break techniques into manageable steps, and check that students understand the movement and expectations for safe practice. Teaching calls for patience, attention and consistency, balanced with clear expectations.
Preparing an explanation that works across skill levels asks me to be deliberate about both the technical detail and the way I communicate it.
Skills I bring to a technical team.
Instruction has strengthened my communication, mentorship and sense of responsibility. I practice explaining a complex movement in clear steps, listening to questions, and adapting to the person learning it. Those habits transfer to technical teamwork: share ideas precisely, check for understanding, and help teammates with different levels of experience move toward a common goal.
